If you like the idea of making use of some old printed circuit boards or motherboards to make some decorative gadgets, then you shall consider some of these from ThinkGeek to spice up your work space for the Christmas.
We have two decorative gadgets, an LED Motherboard Christmas Tree and Menorah, which are all made from recycled computer motherboards. The LED Christmas Tree features 16 LEDs, needs a 9V battery for its power, and the battery is exposed having the tree sitting on top.
The Motherboard-made Menorah features 9 LEDs, which also needs a 9V battery for its power, and the Menorah is mounted atop of the battery. Each costs only $20. If you wanna save the $20 bucks, you can also make one by yourself. What you need is only a piece of old motherboard that has been chucked in one corner for ages and some LEDs.
