MetalWear External 1.5TB HDD enclosure

Due to the increasing amount of data we have these days, we may wanna consider an external hard drive that has terabytes of storage capacity. The newly announced MetalWear External HDD enclosure comes with a 7,200 RPM 1.5TB HDD enclosed within, which shall be sufficient to store all your data.

This 1.5TB external HDD enclosure is sold under the code name MTH1500EX in Japan by the company Yano. The enclosure comes equipped with various ports to suit both PC and Mac users. It features both Firewire 400 and 800 as well as the eSATA and USB 2.0 to suit the two mentioned platforms.

This enclosure is to be sold in Japan for a price tag of 400 Euro and to hit the Japanese market only on December 24th. For those who live outside of Japan may consider to import this over to get yourself ready for the increasing amount of data coming in the new year. With the terabytes of capacity, it may be good to use it as a NAS by hooking it up with a USB-to-NAS adapter to share your data, audios and videos with your family members.
