OCZ is a company that has been known to crave for speed when coming to producing memories. They’ve unveiled the OCZ Throttle flash drive which outperforms all USB 2.0 flash drives by three times in speed.
The OCZ Throttle flash drive uses the e-SATA port. This port will usually be ignored or mistaken as a USB port, or you’ll probably have never used it before as there are only very low number of eSATA hard drives out there, not like the USB hard drives that you have tons in the market.
The picture below clearly shows you how an e-SATA port looks like on your PC. And it normally has the word e-SATA labeled below it. If you’ve been complaining about your USB flash drives giving you poor data transfer rate, copying files always experiences slowness, then you may consider the OCZ Throttle flash drive here. Provided your computer isn’t too old and comes with an e-SATA port.

The OCZ Throttle clearly outperforms USB 2.0 flash drives. USB 2.0 flash drives offer 30MB/sec read speeds and 15MB/sec of write speeds, while the Throttle eSATA drive offers 90MB/sec read speeds and 30MB/sec write speeds.
The OCZ Throttle flash drive also comes with a secondary, mini USB connector, which offers a choice for the PCs that do not come with an eSATA port. The Throttle drive is available in 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB capacities. There is no pricing information yet for this drive, but hope it’ll be announced soon.
