If you’re a frequent traveler, you definitely don’t want to catch a cold or flu during your traveling period. But if you’re a T-mobile HTC G1 user, you now have a handy application to keep you aware of the cold and flu activities happening in any places that you intend to travel to.
The Cold & Flu companion application allows the T-mobile G1 user to enter a zip code of an area, to know the percentage of sick people of that area. From that on, you can then decide how you shall get yourself prepared before going to these places, or you can choose not to travel to these places.
This Cold & Flu mobile companion app has just been launched by Zicam, which the current version is only made for the Android-powered phone – the T-Mobile G1, but they’re scheduling another version for the iPhone in mid of December.
This application is claimed to be more precise in providing cold and flu spreading information that what Google’s flu outbreak reporting tool could do.
