Hyundai, the South Korean car maker, has also followed the foot steps of many of its rivals, into producing hybrid cars.

One of Hyundai’s plans for the year 2010 is to unveil its Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Concept. And this Hyundai’s hybrid will be pretty much different from other hybrid cars that we’ve seen. It’s said to be powered by lithium polymer technology instead of the lithium ion battery that is found on most hybrid cars.

The lithium polymer technology to be used in Hyundad’s hybrid car will take up less space with much reduction in size. It’s lightweight, provides more energy and better efficiency. Take a look at the video below on how this Hyundai’s hybrid engine in action.
