
Japan always gets multimedia-rich cellphone, so for those who’re envious of what the Japanese have may be interested in what the latest that has hit the Japan. It’s the DoCoMo PRIME F-01A clamshell.
This clamshell handset is powered by the Symbian OS and it’s a tough guy which can withstand a depth of one meter for half an hour under water. The phone also comes with the HSDPA high-speed connectivity. This seems to be a must in most recently released Japanese cellphones.
The phone is compliant to Fujitsu’s FOMA specifications, features a 3.5-inch widescreen VGA touchscreen display, equipped with a 5.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and face-detection technologies.
The camera is also capable of recording video at 30fps. Some other goodies are also commonly seen on a Japanese cellphone such as Fingerprint reader, e-Wallet function, and 1Seg TV tuner. It has a microSD slot for memory expansion.
