Instead of having a boring doorbell that plays you only the boring “ding dong”, you may wanna consider to have a bird to call you when someone arrives and presses the doorbell.
Here comes the bird-shaped door bell which serves as a good replacement for your existing door bell. If you have this installed on your door, you’ll hear the bird call chime. It’s in a shape of a bird, a sparrow, best recommended for the bird lovers, making it cute to greet someone at your door.
The doorbell comes with a 2W speaker that blasts the bird chime. It’s a wireless door bell which installation is super easy as you won’t get into the trouble of dangling wires, and double-sided stickers are ready at the back of it, just tear it off and stick it on. It also comes with a remote which lets you switch on and off its sound. The doorbell needs three AAA batteries, whereas the remote needs one.

This is a cute idea, I just wonder if it would get annoying after awhile, even for the bird lover?

will sure get annoyed.. so perhaps they can make it producing different birds sound for every new visitor ^.^

darn cute invention .. i have seen something similar to this before but it is meant for the retail shop owners and will let them know when customers have entered their shops. it works on infrared sensors i think.. i would say it is meant more for those shops that do not receive much customers
