
OrbLive is an useful application that lets you beam media from your Internet-connected home PC to your iPhone. OrbLive on iPhone is to work with Orb, a free streaming application to be installed on your home PC (Windows only). The two softwares communicate to beam your media from your PC to the iPhone via high-speed networks.
OrbLive has made itself officially available at the Apple App Store. And it’s been specially designed to make full use of the high-speed 3G and WiFi connectivities supported by iPhone 3G, to beam your media from your home PC to your iPhone.
You can now beam your photos, music and videos from your home computer onto your iPhone, while you’re on the go. OrbLive has optimized the transmission over the high-speed networks, so you can access any files or media directly from your home PC using your iPhone, such as playing music directly from your home PC on your iPhone. There isn’t a need for syncing or uploading of files.
If you have a TV tuner connected to your home PC, OrbLive also lets you stream the live TV directly to your iPhone, so you can watch live TV on the go. A full version of OrbLive costs $9.99 and which can be purchased from the App Store. Or you can get a demo version free for a try first.
