
We’ve told you that China is preparing their own Android handset, and now it’s been identified, it’s the Sciphone’s Dream G2.
This Chinese Android handset is claimed to be loaded with a modified version of the Android OS, and it’s preparing itself into the market on Nov 28th. The UI on this Chinese handset seems to be pretty much like the real Android. But some apps could have been replaced ustom Messaging, Media and Google Mobile apps. It also supports Java MIDP 2.0 apps.
The handset is said to boast a 2.8-inch TFT display with 320×240 resolution, supports EDGE only (no 3G), equipped with a 4-megapixel camera with auto-focus. Other goodies are WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, AVRCP support and FM radio. The full specs are as follows:
