It’s another cellphone made to challenge the iPhone – being popular definitely gets many competitors lining up. The iRiver is a cellphone started by the Korean company, Reigncom, which is planned to carry many features to be on par with the iPhone.

The iRiver cellphone comes in a brushed metal look, will feature a large touchscreen, WiFi, dictionary, handwriting recognition software, PMP for both audio and video, and also be capable of downloading music from the iTunes-like music stores, the Bug Music Service of Korea. Besides the touchscreen, it’s also equipped with pad for the control.

The phone has just been announced to the press in Korea, which the company plans to release it by March 2009 and will be attached to the Korean operator, KT.
