Western Digital has been known only producing hard drives. But recently, they’ve added a new line into the products, which are some HD media streaming devices.
The newly introduced media streaming device from WD is their WD TV HD Media Player. The device allows you to plug in your USB storage (USB hard drive or USB key) that have HD contents, and stream them over to your HDTV in 1080p via the HDMI or composite outputs.
The device measures 1.6- x 4.9- x 3.9-inch, which seems to be pretty easy to carry around for your journey. It comes with a remote control, carries a price tag of $130 and you can get it from Best Buy.
