Just put aside your thinking that Motorola is solely good at making cellphones. This time they’re showing us with two new GPS devices which they’ve just rolled out – the MOTONAV TN20 and TN30.
Apparently, between the two devices, the TN20 is a lower end model, which has pretty sufficient functionalities to show you the directions, lead you to your destinations. The device speaks out the street names as well as the turn-by-turn directions.
The TN20 also shows you over one million searchable points of interest as well as accurate maps depicting continental US, which is supplied by NAVTEQ. So on this device, you get the most accurate maps, and you also have two display modes, which are 2D and 3D, to choose from. The device is equipped with a 3.5 inch touchscreen display, which is also bright enough when used under direct sunlight. Some more, it adjusts its brightness to suit your driving conditions. The device is small enough to go into your pocket, which is handy to bring around anywhere you go.
The MOTONAV T30 has all the features and functions found on the T20 and it has extra functions which you don’t get on the T20. Such as you get more maps on the T30, including the maps of Canada and Puerto Rico. And you have four million searchable points of interest, whereas as mentioned the T20 has only over 1 million of them. The T30 also comes with a bigger touch screen that measures 4.3 inch. And it supports Bluetooth connectivity, which you can make use of the T30 GPS device as a wireless handsfree for your cellphone while you’re driving.
The shared features found on the T20 and T30 are on-screen speed, distance, elevation, distance traveled, arrival time; fastest and shortest route options; advanced lane guidance in complex interchange; speed limit display with warnings, and both devices have memory expansion via the SD card slot. The T20 and T30 will retailed for $199.99 and $299.99 respectively.
