Floppy drives have gone obsolete on today’s computers. But those sys admin might occasionally bump into the situation of having to use floppy disc to let a computer boot from it such as performing a BIOS update.
HP has got a USB floppy drive key which offers two-in-one storage options i.e. as a USB flash drive and also as a USB floppy drive. This USB Floppy key contains a floppy section, which you just need to copy files onto this floppy section and then move this key over to a floppy-less computer and boot.
HP offers two storage capacities for this USB floppy key, which are the 256MB and 1GB and carry price tags of $49 and $79 respectively. Surprisingly HP omits the 512MB model. This USB floppy drive key is handy, as you don’t need a dedicated USB floppy drive for some of the mentioned purposes.
