If you’re into a project that needs you to consistently measure the temperature of your environment, and make some plots for analysis, then this USB temperature logger (aka USB Temper Thermograph) shall come in handy.
This gadget works like a thermometer that captures the temperature of your surrounding.
But it offers extra functionality by logging the temperature data onto its built-in flash memory card. Which you can then hook it up to a PC for further analysis.
The device can be used to record temperature for up to five months after every single full charge.
Since it’s just the size of a USB flash drive, you can bring it along wherever you go for recording those interesting hot and cold figures. It’s got a few LEDs which blink to show you that it’s in the process of recording temperature. And you can also set the range of temperature that you’re interested in.
When it’s caught something in range, it blinks in green. And it blinks in blue when it’s out of range and in red when it’s logging data. It’s included with utility software that allows you plot some graphs based on the collected data and export it into various formats such as Excel, Word etc.
