Bloodhound super sonic car, is a the new generation of sport car that is being developed by a team lead by Richard Noble, which aims to achieve a super fast land speed of over 1,000 MPH.
This project would likely take the team three years. The Bloodhound SSC aims to break the current land speed record, which is held at 763mph created back in 1997 by the Thrust SSC. If the Bloodhound SSC achieves its target of 1,000mph (Mach 1.4), it’ll also mark the greatest incremental increase in history.
The Bloodhound SSC will come in a pretty huge size which measures 12.8 meter in length and some more it’s a heavy-weight which weighs 6.5 tonnes when fully fueled. It’s jet and rocket-powered which is claimed to be even more advanced than most spacecraft and able to achieve a top speed faster than a bullet fired by a handgun.
The Bloodhound has big wheels too which each wheel has a diameter of 900mm and rotates at a speed over 10000 RPM that could generate 50000 radial G at the rim. And it’ll capable of achieving an acceleration from 0 to 1050 MPH in just 40 seconds.
The body of this super sonic car is made of carbon fibre and titanium which can cope with the huge pressure of about 12 tonnes per square meter, when it’s in its run. The car can cover a distance of over four football pitches in every second while running at its top speed.

This sonic car is associated with all the massive figures which is definitely not meant for any average Joe to drive. When it gets completed three years later, it’ll also be driven by Wing Commander Andy Green, who is the current record holder that he set by driving the ThrustSSC back in 1997. BBC has the video of the animation that gives a rough idea how fast it could run.
