
Toshiba has announced a high-end laptop, Qosmio X305-Q708, which is specially made for the gamers.
This powerful laptop is powered by the Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9300 processor and comes with 4GB DDR3 RAM. You get two permanent storage drives on this laptop, which is a 128GB solid state drive meant for the speed and another 7,200 RPM 320GB SATA hard drive to provide additional storage capacity.
As a laptop specially made for the gamers it must be loaded with great graphics cards – You’ll find NVIDIA GeForce 9400m graphics, plus dual 512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9800M GTS graphics cards, which are set up in SLI. The laptop is also equipped with pretty good sound system that lets you blast the game music out loud so you can be fully immersed in the game – It’s got four Harmon Kardon speakers and a built in sub woofer.
The laptop also includes a DVD burner, and a 1.3 megapixel camera that supports face recognition technology. This laptop sports an 17-inch screen with a resolution of 1680 x 1050. And it runs Windows Vista Ultimate which you have a choice for a 32-bit or 64-bit. The new Toshiba laptop shall be available pretty soon at major retailers and also directly from Toshiba. And the price is steep, which costs you $4,200 with all the great features!
