Since many netbooks have surfaced in the market recently, perhaps many of you have noticed they’re almost similar. Such as powered by Atom processor, having similar storage and memory options etc.
Some makers might wanna make their netbook products different from others, by having it to run Windows CE instead XP, some even wanna turn its screen into a touchscreen. But OLO computer now has something that is much more unique than the mentioned. It acts as a mothership for your iPhone, which you can insert your iPhone in the OLO netbook and it turns the iPhone’s touchscreen into a trackpad for the OLO netbook.
It’s unsure that what OS that the OLO netbook will run. It looks pretty likely that it’ll run an OS X since iPhone runs a stripped-down version of OS X and some more the picture attached above shows it looks pretty much like a desktop OS X. Perhaps it’ll let you run all the applications on your iPhone, such as the Safari browser but only on a much larger screen.
There isn’t any detailed information on the pricing and availability. It could be just a concept from OLO, but it sounds cool, at least making it much more different from other netbooks that have almost similar features from one another.
