Engadget Chinese has got their hands on the Asus Eee PC S101. The S101 is the version of Eee PC that comes with a bigger screen size of 10.2 inch.
The Eee PC S101 will measure at a tapering 16 to 21-mm and weigh less than 1KG. Of course, many are keen to compare it with the Macbook Air that has a thinness of 4mm to 19mm.
The specs that can be expected from the S101 are a 10.2-inch WSVGA LED-backlit display, an SSD up to 64GB in size, 4-in-1 flash card reader, Bluetooth 2.0, 802.11n WiFi, a VGA output, three USB 2.0 ports, a multi-touch trackpad and a 0.3-megapixel webcam.
In the pictures attached below, you will find a USB port, a headphone jack, and mic jack on the right side of this laptop. On the left side, you’ll find two USB ports. VGA port, RJ45 and exhaust vent are found at the back of this super thin notebook.
The S101 is expected to be priced at $699 to $799 and come in brown, champagne and graphite hues.
