The AutoSave Essentials is a backup software that can automatically backup various data you have on your computer, including your precious photos, emails, videos and many more.
An automatic data backup solution is what we need these days, as data keep increasing on our PCs and some more we’re always forgetful and seldom carry out our own backup at the end of the day.
The AutoSave Essentials runs at the background which does automatic backup of your selected data. You can schedule, customize the folders and files that you wanna backup by launching it through the shotcut icon on your desktop or on your toolbar.
The AutoSave presents you with three different types of backup plans by default which are music, pictures and documents. You can set each to be backed up to different types of storage including network (FTP and Network drive), external (USB stick or external HDD) and local storage. Other than backing up the real files of the three types of contents, it also backs up the email and web browser’s bookmarks associated with them.
Other than the three mentioned backup plans, you can freely create your own custom plan which you can choose the folders, files or specifically add in the file extensions in your new custom backup plan.
For each plan that you have setup, you can easily schedule it when and the frequency for each plan to run. The AutoSave runs at the background backing up your data from the source to the destined storage automatically.
I’ve found this backup software simply handy, as an easy-to-use PC solution, especially for those who’re not so disciplined to carry out their own manual backup, after every update you’ve done on your PC. AutoSave Essentials also comes with utility for you to easily archive the data to CD and also the utility for restoring from the backup. For only $40, you can get it from AvanQuest software.
