Sanyo has added a new SATNAV device, NV-BD600DT, in its Gorilla lineup. The new Sanyo SATNAV has more or less similar capabilities with others, and it’s got a screen that is 5.8 inches.
On the Sanyo SATNAV, you’ll get a 4GB internal memory, built-in speakers, SD memory expansion slot, real-time traffic update, FM transmitter and 1 Seg TV tuner. The 1Seg TV sounds little extravagant here, but it’s might be useful for your passengers instead of for the driver.
With this tuner, it’s capable of receiving 1Seg TV broadcast in Japan, which keeps the passengers amused. But it’s definitely not advisable for the driver to switch the TV tuning on, as it definitely distracts your attention on the road. Besides, the device is also capable of playing music including MP3 and WMA formats and also displaying JPEG pictures.
The device is only made available in Japan, which is likely to hit the Japanese market on Oct 21st but the price still remains unconfirmed.
