Couple of companies have been talking about producing those handheld mini projectors or the kind of pico projector that can be attached to the butt of a cellphone. But it seems like ChinaVasion is much ahead of others, they’ve got a projector-equipped cellphone and start selling it on their online store.
What the Chinese company has, is a tri-band cellphone that has a tiny 640×480 projector affixed at its butt. Other than the projector, this cellphone also carries various goodies including a touchscreen, WAP, Bluetooth connectivity, and a big 1800mAh battery that gives you extra long hours of talking time and phone usage.
This projector cellphone, codenamed CVSL-112, is claimed to be equipped with tri-band technology and an open SIM card slot, which allows you to use the phone over more than 100 cellular network operators worldwide (compatible with GSM 900MHz, 1800MHz, 1900MHz networks). Of course, the most impressive part of this phone its the tiny projector affixed at its butt. By switching on the external display option, you can project movies or data loaded on this phone onto a wall.
The phone is also loaded with lots of multimedia goodies, such as MP3 and MP4 players, 1.3mp Digital Camera, Image Viewer, Video Recorder, and rich media environment messaging options. It’s also equipped with a micro SD card slot which provides the convenience for loading data onto the phone. The touchscreen interface and the iPhone-like OS allows easiness of operation on this phone.

Just spend $366 and it’ll be yours – a great device that lets you make calls, play multimedia content as well as projecting those contents on a wall for a comfortable viewing, which is handy for meetings. A video is included showing the projector phone in action.
