For an excellent guitar player, you may need a portable recorder that allows you to record down those tunes that you churn out with your guitar occasionally. Yes, it could be those you’ve ever played were great songs that would make big hit.
The BackTrack is one simple and handy recorder for your guitar. Just plug in your quarter-inch cord and start rocking on your guitar. The device always stays on and only starts its recording when a signal is detected. There is a Mark button, which just needs a press, so you can then search back the piece and download it later.
The device records audio as 24-bit, 48KHz .WAV files. It’s got only a 1GB internal memory, which allows only for up to 12 hours of recording. If you have more to record, you will need to empty it, lets say transfer it to your PC. The battery life can also last up to 12 hours, but it all depends what sample rate and bit depth that you choose for your recording.
The device allows you to connect to your PC’s USB port for downloading your music as well as charging its internal battery. There is also a “+Mic” version which comes with a built-in mic that allows you to sing along, while playing the guitar to make a complete song. And the “+Mic” version has double of the storage capacity.
