If you have your computer playing some music and you’d like to share you music to someone who lives next door, the easiest way is to make use of the TrekStor Wireless music streaming kit, which allows wireless transmission of your music up to 25 meter away.
The kit comes with a transceiver which is shaped like a USB dongle that you just need to hook it up to your computer’s USB port. And a wireless speaker that receives the wireless audio signals over the 2.4GHz channel. As mentioned the transceiver and the wireless speaker can be up to 25 meter apart.
A start set of this kit costs you around 50 Euro, which you get two wireless Soundbox speakers and one transceiver. Each speaker has a output rating of 0.5W, which doesn’t sound too bad, as they’re just a tiny speaker that measures only 70mm on each side. Each additional speaker will cost you 30 Euro. And you can expand the set up to 20 additional speakers.
If you and those guys next door were good friends, then you should suggest each of them to get a pair of the speakers, which they could then get to share what you’re listening on your computer which has the transceiver. The kit is working fine on a PC, Mac and even Linux-based PC.
