The recent release of the iPhone firmware 2.1 might have gotten you to upgrade your iPhone with the latest 2.1 firmware.
But after upgrading, and you still wanna run those jail-broken applications, the iPhone Dev team has just managed a catch up here – they’ve just released the PwnageTool and QuickPwn for iPhone that runs the 2.1 firmware.
It says that these new tools don’t work with the new 2nd generation of iPod Touch. It’s solely meant for the iPhones and the first generation of iPod Touch devices only. Besides, the Dev Team also managed to work around iTunes 8 without having to patch the program, which pwners can try out the new tool without having to worry about that it’ll mess up a core OS X program.
