
It’s time to eye on an monitor that could save some energy consumption for you and also the environment, if you’re a geek who runs multiple monitors on your work desk.
Eizo has launched the FlexScan, a large screen LCD monitor which is claimed to feature couple of interesting technologies that bring less harm to the environment. The latest model, EV2411W-HGY, from Eizo, belongs to the line, FlexScan, and it is a 24.1 inch LCD monitor.
This LCD monitor is built based on the “EcoView” concept and it uses white LED backlighting and ambient brightness adjustment, which make power consumption much lower than other monitors. How much it can be saved using the Eizo FlexScan EV2411W-HGY LCD monitor is not disclosed yet.
The Eizo LCD monitor offers a resolution of 1920 × 1200, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 300cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, and 178/178 degrees viewing angle. It’s scheduled to hit the Japanese market in October and carry a price tag of $790.
