Touch-Hear is the new concept presented by Design Incubation Centre which aims to make pocket dictionaries obsolete one day. The concept is to make use of your finger tips only to touch on words or phrases, and the meaning will be spelled out for you.
This is definitely super handy, whenever you’ve come across an unfamiliar word, just touch the word with your fingertip and you’ll get the answer, which will be spoken out with the meaning in your ear. This eliminates the hassle of needing you to flip through pages of a thesaurus of search Answer.com or Google for the meaning of the word.
The Touch-Hear is just a concept at the moment, which the maker has not leaked too much of the details. It’ll be like some water-drop-like sensors to be attached on your fingertips and a white vocal device to be positioned on the ear, which are super tiny that are hardly noticeable by human eyes. Other than this, I guess there would be a huge database of words, which the water-drop-like sensors on your fingertips are able to communicate with it wirelessly.
