As what the title says, HP is gonna work together with world-renowned designer, Vivienne Tam, to create a special edition of the HP notebooks, which would become a great accessory to bring along on the catwalk.
It’s the first time that HP is working together with a globally renowned fashion designer to create their upcoming notebooks. We’ll get to see the next highly stylish and powerful notebooks to come out of the hands of the Vivienne Tam and the HP engineers. Besides, Tam also worked with HP to create some accessories and packaging for HP notebooks.
Tam claims that she already figured out in her mind, how the design of the new HP notebooks would look like, when she was first approached by HP about to create a special notebook.
“The top of the notebook is gleaming red and bursting with peony flowers. The peony design is meticulously carried inside the notebook, under the keypad. The notebook also features a complementary embroidered storage sleeve that helps keep the exterior protected while being carried as a clutch.”
“The peony design features a unique blend of Asian and Western cultures, antiquity and modern style, technology and fashion. It was inspired by Tam’s “China Chic” style, which is recognized from the runways in Milan to the Olympics in Beijing and represents her personal mantra to live well and be beautiful.”
Her design is definitely to blend fashion well with technology, and it’s definitely a need for today’s modern women, who’re always associated with fashion and high-tech stuff – the HP notebook. The HP Vivienne Tam Special Edition notebook is expected to hit the market around early next year.
Other than that, HP also launched a fully integrated virtual experience to help fashionistas around the globe find design inspiration online. A virtual catwalk has been created, a designer tour hosted by Tam, which features a “design bot” gadget that inspired users to dress up their computer with Tam-designed icons, wallpapers and screensavers.
