It might be little unfair to say Japanese are always ahead of us for almost everything. But somehow, they have some crazy ideas which will always be deemed as innovative.
The latest fridge technology that the Japanese are to deliver to us is the kind of fridge that will spray vitamin C to keep your veggie, meat and even your sushi fresh. These fridges are the product of Hitachi which have the code name R-Y6000. As mentioned they’re to emit vitamin C in the air to keep the food in it fresh.
Vitamin C is deemed to be able to keep the color of the meat longer and slow down the nutrient loss in vegetables and fish. And some more this smart fridge is also equipped with a filter that prevents mold. It comes with 6 drawers which is much more than those average fridges which usually get two only. It has a volume of 602 liters and will carry a price tag of $3,000. Hitachi plans to produce 3,000 units every month. Squeezing oranges inside the fridge would be the next choice if you ain’t wanna spend three grand for a fridge like this.
