
French designer, Mr Vivien Muller has come out with a new idea of charging those overwhelming quantity of gadgets you have these days. It’s a bonsai tree that is hung with lots of photovoltaic cells to charge your gadgets.
The Bonsai charging tree is equipped with 54 tiny photovoltaic panels, which collects light energy and store in its internal battery during day time, which can then be used to charge your gadgets at night.
Bonsai tree is loved by oriental guys for decorating their living space. A Bonsai that can be used to power up various gadgets is definitely a handy and decorative piece that we need these days. The Bonsai charging tree nicely hides all its wires and plugs under its tray. Furthermore, it’s flexible which each branch on the tree can be detached or adjusted to fit a smaller living space or to go on your work desk.
It’s more or less like Lego which each part can be rotated to produce various shapes to suit your need and the space you have. Too bad, this Bonsai charging tree is just a concept. Whether it’ll be picked up for mass production is still a big question. But, it’s definitely a need idea.
