The cylindrical device shown to your here is actually a radio. It’s a radio that has been designed to present you the most simplicity as possible.
These days, radio could get with lots of functions with too many buttons to press. So, we want something simpler. This cylindrical radio has been given a name called HiddenRadio. Its name surely tells you that you’re not able to tell that it’s a radio when you just have a first look at it. Of course, I’m sure no one could tell it’s a radio, it can be mistaken for anything.
The HiddenRadio was designed by the Aussie designer John Van Den Nieuwenhuizen, which his intention was to make it as simple as possible. It has no scroll wheels and knobs to turn. To turn up its volume, you just simply life the cap up. By doing so, you’ll also give more space to the bass speaker chamber to exhale louder music.
Rotating the cap changes the radio station and a LED on the button points on the quality of the tuning. I believe this device is to run on batteries since it doesn’t show me any power cords. But it’d be best there is an alternative, lets say, can be charged via your USB port. Some diagrams below to show you how it’s operated.
