
It’s been known for some times that AT&T has started offering mobile TV for the United States. And they’ve just announced a new LG handset, the LG Invision, which is to offer mobile TV on the AT&T network.
The LG Invision is the smallest mobile TV capable handset found in the America. The Invision cellphone measures 4 inches tall by 2 inches wide, and has a thickness of less than 1/2 inch. The cellphone offers a clear screen which is best for viewing TV programming. Including those favorite channels of the America, such as CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile and NBC2GO.
Some other goodies found on the LG Invision include a 1.3-megapixel camera and Video Share calling capability. To offer mobile TV, the cellphone must be capable of 3G for speedy streaming. The cellphone is made to run on the AT&T’s 3G network, and it comes preloaded with with AT&T Mobile Music, Napster To Go, and XM Radio Mobile. The Bluetooth connectivity on this handset allows wireless transferring of music and making hands free calls. The phone is available for $150, but you’re bound to a 2-year contract. You’ll also get a mail-in $50 rebate when signing up for a qualifying contract.
