
Digital photo printers are getting more sophisticated these days. Just take a look at the latest Casio’s digital photo printer, the PCP-1200, it comes with a 7-inch touchscreen and a keyboard which allows more convenient operations on this printer.
The PCP-1200 printer is great for printing text on post card size prints. The printer allows you to print photos from your digital camera, mobile phones and money memory card.The printer is compatible with a wide range of memory cards found in the market.
In the list, it accepts memory cards including CF, Memory Stick / PRO / Duo / PRO Duo, xD-Picture Card, SDHC / SD Memory Card, MMC. Other than this, it’s got an optional adapter which allows you to miniSDHC / SD Memory Card, microSDHC / SD Memory Cards to transfer your photos to it for printing.
The printer also comes with more 60 built-in stamps in various shapes such as heart, star, which you can make use of for making some nice greeting cards or birthday cards. You can also make use of this printer to do some face design, adding some decorations or flowery stuff to the photos, to make up some photos with some funny backgrounds. You can select from 294 different stamps and 200 illustrations for the face design.
The PCP-1200 printer measures 251 × 130 × 151mm, and weighs 2.3 kg, which sounds overweight and not so portable for bringing it around. It’ll be made available in Japan for about $500.
