The biggest frustration is while you’re sitting in front of a TV, switching channels with your remote control, but it stops functioning. As it’s run out of batteries! It’s definitely a great idea that there is a remote control which its batteries will never need to be replaced.

The wind-up remote control is definitely a great gadget for the environment, as it needs no replacement of AA or AAA batteries, which is one of the factors that causes lots of chemical waste for the environment. And of course, it saves your pocket for buying batteries. But the price of the wind-up remote is much higher than any average remote controls. It carries a price tag of $39. Again, in long term, it saves lots of your pocket from spending on batteries. It seems to have wide compatibility with lots of brands in the market, including Samsung, Sony, Phillips, Panasonic etc.
