
Nikon has got another high-res beast in its line again. It’s the Nikon Coolpix P6000 camera. The Nikon Coolpix P6000 comes with a 13.5 megapixel sensor, which offers full control of Digital SLR shooting despite its compact body.
The other uniqueness of the Nikon Coolpix P6000 is it’s equipped with built-in GPS, which allows you to keep track where and when you’ve taken those photos. Users are allowed to geotag the photos that they’ve taken by making use of the built-in GPS.
The locations of those taken photos will be geotagged with the latitudinal and longitudinal coordinates. And with the help of the Nikon ViewNX Software, my Picturetown and the Nikon photo sharing websites, you can easily pinpoint those photos to the locations where they’ve been taken onto to a map.
The P6000 is also one of the Coolpix series of Nikon, which offers easy shooting controls and exposure mode settings, as it presents the users with intuitive commands by the use of dedicated command and mode dials. The Nikon Coolpix P6000 is expected to hit the store in September, and will carry a price tag of $500.
