PolyFuel prototyped fuel-cell-powered Lenovo T40 laptop
Fuel cell is not restricted to use for powering the future cars. It’s now being planned to be used in computer laptops. Well, it still takes a couple of years to have fuel cell batteries loaded on the laptops.

PolyFuel, a company based in California has worked out a prototyped laptop with Lenovo, which has built-in power conversion system that can convert methanol fuel to electricity to power a laptop. The laptop prototype being used for testing the fuel cell power is the Lenovo T40 ThinkPad.

Fuel cell is said to have 10 times the power of similar Lithium ion batteries, while runs at full capacity. A fuel-cell-powered laptop is expected to last 10 hours with its battery life before needing recharge. The size of the full cell battery is only about the size of a standard deck of cards. It’s kidn of handy, which you can bring along refillable cartridges, and just simply switch along your journey.
