Griffin Technology has announced that they’re gonna bring the first poker video game for your iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. The Vegas-style poker game is called 5 Card Touch and to be available exclusively on Apple App Store.
The “5 Card Touch” is the first application that Griffin is gonna release on Apple App Store. And of course, followed by some other interesting apps too in later dates. Griffin’s apps don’t need you always stay connected to Internet to use those apps. As you can download them onto your iPhone, and enjoy playing or using them even while the iPhone is turned on with the “Airplane Mode”.
The “5 Card Touch” poker game works in a pretty fast-paced manner, which gets the player to start with $1,000 of virtual money, and it keeps tracks various stats including winnings, hands played and won. You’re allowed to bet for a minimum of 1 credit and a maximum of 5 credits, and then hit the Deal button to start with.
This poker game app also makes use of the touchscreen capability of your iPhone, which you can use your little finger to tap cards to be discarded or tap to let you draw new cards. Of course, how much you’re gonna win all depends on how much you bet each time. A Royal Flush earns you the most points and Jacks or Better wins the minimum prize.
The Griffin’s poker game app is now available on Apple App Store for download, which you just have to pay $1.99 to get it onto your iPhone.
