LED dress makes you brightly lit in the dark

LED dress by Mary Huang
LEDs are pretty common these days, and the best is it needs little power. It isn’t a surprise that some geeky fashion designers wanna incorporate the LED technology into their latest fashion designs.

Here comes the LED dress, which have couple of soft-glowing LEDs hiding beneath the fabric. These LEDs have been blended so well with the dress. Since they’re soft-glowing, which simply adds an eerie look to the dress that doesn’t take away the original pattern and flow.

The dress is definitely best worn in a dim restaurant or club. Or while you’re having candle light dinner with your loved one, it makes you shine brightly in between the candle lights. The LED dress is the design of designer, Mary Huang. She claims that incorporating technology into wearable fashion isn’t an easy task at all. She’s got a new line of these LED-powered wearables, which is called Rhyme & Reason, that also includes an LED scarf.

Both the LED dress and the scarf run off either battery power or a wall outlet. Of course, it sounds crazy to have it powered by the wall outlet while you’re wearing it, which restricts your freedom of moving around. If only, when you’re not wearing, just hang it over a standing hanger, then you can have it to take power from the wall outlet, which makes it double as a lamp too.
