
LG Chocolate has now come to its version 3. And it’s ready to hit the Verizon Wireless on the July 14th. The phone is a music-centric cellphone that carries many goodies, which will be detailed to you after the jump.
First in this series, the VX8560 model is what we need to take a look, which is a clamshell phone that is unlike the first two handsets in the LG Chocolate line. The VX8560 model will be made available in Black and Light Blue color options for the time being. This phone features two displays, which is a 2.2-inch internal QVGA display, 176×220 pixel external display that comes with a navigation wheel. The phone is also equipped with a built-in 1GB internal memory, which you can expand the memory via the memory card slot that can support up to 8GB of microSDHC. You’ll also get Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headset jack, 2MP camera and stereo speakers on this cellphone.
The Chocolate 3 is also the first music phone in Verizon that gets an FM transmitter, which allows you to listen to your stored music on any near by FM Radio Receiver. The phone is expected to carry a price tag of $129, if you’re willing to be bound by a 2-year contract. The price $129 is after the $50 rebate. If you only wanna go for 1 year, you’ll need to pay $199 after a $50 rebate. And if you want the phone only, without signing for any plan, then you’ll have to pay $299 to get it.
