The Motorola ROKR E8 is the first cellphone from the company that features their breakthrough ModeShift technology, which they’d showcased pretty much of it at CES this year, at Vegas. ModeShift presents couple of goodies on the ROKR E8 cellphone.
Including a single touch of a button to transform the cellphone into a music player, super tactile-responsive virtual keys, FastScroll for ease of scrolling over list containing thousands of songs, patented CrystalTalk tech that ensures clarity of calls even in noisy environment, Windows Media Player version 11 for ease of transferring of tunes between PC and the device, and included with a few pre-loaded music tracks and albums from Interpol, The Starting Line and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus.
The ROKR E8 is built for shifting between a music player and a cellphone at ease. And with the FastScroll navigation wheel, a variable-speed touch control, making it super easy for users to scroll through the content stored on the cellphone. Just a gentle slide of your thumb on the wheel, it’ll then scroll through your music, contacts, calendar, or multimedia content, and switching between different modes of operations are just transparent to the users. The phone also boasts 2-inch QVGA display, which makes all relevant information easily viewed on the screen.
