Nokia N78 will hit the Taiwanese market in the middle of June. The phone will feature a 3.2 megapixel camera, equipped with various wireless connectivities such as WLAN or HSDPA, and supports GPS. It’s deemed as the cheaper version of the Nokia N82. The phone is to be included in package with 1-year free Internet access and unlimited music download in Taiwan.
Nokia had shown off a couple of its N series cellphones at Taipei. The N78 is also considered to replace the hot-selling predecessor, N73. But it has additional features such as HSDPA, GPS, and WLAN, which you don’t get on N73.
The Nokia N78 will be carrying a price tag of 19,500 TWD. And it comes with numerous free gifts such as 2 GB microSD card, 1-year free of WIFLY wireless Internet connection, and free unlimited Double Play music download for one year. The Nokia N78 poses a pretty close similarity to the Nokia N81, which also comes with a black mirrored display.
The back of this phone looks similar to the N82. You’ll get two different versions that come with different colors for the back cover, which is either in blue or white. Overall, the design of the Nokia N78 is very close to the designs of all other Nokia N-series cellphones.

The Nokia N78 cellphone features a 2.4 inch QVGA TFT display. The keypad is beneath the display, but you’ll hardly notice any numbers or words printed on the keypad. But once you have a press on any of the buttons, the keypad will light up showing you all the numbers and the function labels.
The Nokia N78 also features a 3.5 mm headphone jack, which allows you to connect any ordinary ear phone for listening your favorite tunes on it. You’ll also get couple of useful software loaded on this phone, such as a built-in Cambridge dictionary, the QuickOffice office suite which lets you read office documentation etc.
