Here comes a USB planter, created by the designer Junyi Heo, which comes with a LCD display that shows various faces to reflect the emotional states of your plant that sits in it.
The USB planter is equipped with a couple of soil, temperature and moisture sensors which help monitor the temperature, soil conditions, dampness and water, based on the type of plant in the planter. The planter is installed with some software that can calculate the optimal amount of water and quality of soil to determine the mood of the plant sitting in it.
The expressions of this planer comes in a handful, which include some male and female ones, as well as some common emotional icons to tell you that the surrounding is too hot, cold, or it’s too thirsty.
Besides, the USB planter can also tell you whether the plant in it has been exposed to sufficient sunlight to proceed for its photosynthesis to make its food. The USB planter is definitely a great idea, which is pretty similar to a few gadgets and concepts that we’ve come across before, which can tell the moods of your plants. This USB planter still remains as a concept, waiting for someone to fund it for getting it materialized.
