K-Touch – the mobile maker from China, which has put a lot of emphasis on the cameras for its cellphones, now has rolled out another new model – the K-Touch C280.
The K-Touch C280 cellphone comes with a camera that has 8-megapixel in resolution, which is higher than its predecessor – the C700. The C280 also features 3x optical zoom with 1600 ISO support, and it’s loaded with better power in image processing which uses Canon’s own DIGIC III image processing utility.
The phone was presented in the China market during CHITEC 2008. There isn’t any further info about this cellphone, besides how powerful its camera is. It seems like K-Touch is really keen on building cell phones to replace some “real” cameras.

I bought the C280 2 weeks ago – marketed in Thailand under the name WellcoM W989 – and have taken a few photos with it. See the first 3 pages of my gallery.
I’ve also written a short review which is now on page 2 of the gallery. Here is the link to my gallery on Flickr. Drop by any time and leave a comment!
