If you’ve paid attention to most Panasonic commercial for its Evolta AA alkaline battery, you’d have noticed a little cute mascot robot, as what is shown in the picture.
Panasonic Evolta AA alkaline battery is said to have squeezed itself into the Guinness world record recently for achieving as the longest-lasting battery among other industrial competitors. At Grand Crayon, Panasonic has made the mascot robot that’s been always around for the commercial of its battery, to climb the cliff to show how lasting their alkaline AA battery is.
The robot is just 17-cm tall, weighs 130-gram, and carries two Evolta AA alkaline batteries at its back, which in fact it’s powered by the two batteries. And it was ordered to climb the 500-meter cliff using a rope. “The little robot hoisted itself up a 530-meter length of rope suspended next to the cliff, reaching the top after a grueling 6 hours and 45 minutes“.
