Samsung Glyde SCH-U940 comes with both a touchscreen and a QWERTY

Samsung Glyde is a new smart phone in Samsung’s lines. The Glyde comes with a QWERTY and a touchscreen, which strongly presents that the mobile world is heading to, equipping with the most that they can do i.e with a iPhone-ish touchscreen and also a QWERTY.


The official name of the Samsung Glyde is Samsung SCH-U940, which comes with quite a lot of interesting features besides the touchscreen capability and the QWERTY keyboard. The Glyde is equipped with GPS function, installed with a full HTML browser that lets you comfortably browse the Internet and you get V CAST music and video on it.

Of course, some other features commonly found on today’s mobile phones are also present on the Samsung Glyde, such as Bluetooth connectivity, a microSD, and a 2 Megapixel camera with Camcorder for 30-second MMS clips as well as 10 minute normal length clips.

Rumors say that the Glyde will be due for release on May 9th, which is today, and be available from Verizon for $249 with a 2-year contract.
