Transcend has announced a new media player, the T.sonic 840, in its lines. The new player has a candybar form factor and is being scheduled to hit the market soon.
The T.sonic 840 MP3 player is to be available in in three storage capacities, which the highest option is the 8GB which is in burgundy. And the other lower storage models are the 2GB (white) and the 4GB (black).
The T.sonic 840 will feature a 1.8-inch high-resolution full-color TFT-LCD screen and support various common audio and video formats including JPG, BMP, MTV, MP3, WMA, DRM10, and WAV. A full charge of the T.sonic 840 shall give you up to 30 hours of continoues play for audio, which sounds pretty impressive and is quite handy that lets you enjoy very long hours of music during your long journey.
The device can also function as a digital voice recorder. It’s also equipped with FM radio, FM recorder, world clock and has a 13-language support for the user interface. The price and the actual availability are still unknown.
