Asus EEE PC no doubt is the most portable PC and the price is also highly affordable to everyone. But maybe the features loaded aren’t satisfactory at all to many of you. You wish that it could have been better such as equipped with a touchscreen or with a storage size more than the latest 8GB flash etc.
Now up on eBay, you get an uber EEE PC, if you ain’t mind paying for the whopping price tag of $3,200. This uber EEE PC was initially set with an open bid price of $2,800, which is a hacked version of the new 8GB model. And has been added with various goodies, now you get a built-in 32GB Patriot XT drive, a touchscreen and an a WiFi card that supports the wireless A, B, G and N.
Besides, it’s also equipped with an FM transmitter, which allows you to play audio through a car radio. And it’s an overclocked that runs Windows XP SP3 with 2GB RAM.
Of course, with many of these new features added, the end result is an EEE PC that weighs more than 1 kg, it now weighs 3.2lbs.
There is no information whether this modded EEE PC gets any extended battery life. With many of these new features added, for sure it will drain out the battery much quicker. The weight and the price definitely are out of my choice.
