Tag Heuer - the well-known time piece maker seems to show high interest in making cellphone. The company ever announced last year that they’d follow the foot steps of many fashion houses, into designing mobile phones.
The first mobile phone that Tag Heur is designing is called Meridiist. And Tag Heuer has outsourced the manufacturing of this phone to the French mobile maker Modelabs. Couple of the pictures of Meridiist have been leaked into the Internet and we have some info here about its features.
The Meridiist will feature a 1.9in screen, music player, 2 megapixel camera and it’s got a secondary OLED display on top for displaying the date and time. Since Tag Heur has been a long-time time piece maker, the first cell phone designed by them will have a more outstanding way to display time for you.
Besides, the Meridiist will also come with a number of alternative back cover options, including black rubber, red leather and crocodile skin. The phone is said to be available in the second quarter of this year and will likely cost a whopping price between $5340 and $6125.
