Tube will be the new mobile phone of Nokia that is made to challenge the Apple iPhone. Nokia has not confirmed its released date, but they have been talking a lot about it since last year.
To be a challenger of Apple iPhone, Nokia Tube will be equipped with a tilting touch screen, similar to the iPhone, which has built-in accelerometer to detect if it’s in a portrait or landscape viewing mode. And it supports the famous UI seen on iPhone. The Tube will have a spectacular 16:9 movie playing mode. And it’ll be Nokia’s slimmest and smartest device so far.
To be an iPhone killer and to knock off other iPhone killers that already exist in the market, Nokia will be looking into equipping this new mobile device with 3G or higher G such as HSPA for high-speed Internet, GPS capability and of course a camera with a minimum of 5 megapixel. On software app, Nokia Tube will support both Java and flash on its web browser, which iPhone’s Safari browser lacks of.
