If you still remember that it was almost one and half year ago that there was a lawsuit between the two companies, Apple and Linksys were fighting for the name iPhone. Finally the two seem to have settled down in harmony and agreed to share the name iPhone.

Of course, after more than a year everybody has forgotten what the LinkSys iPhone is about, and in everybody’s mind is just the Apple iPhone. Okay, just take the Apple iPhone off your mind for a few seconds while reading this post. We’re now looking into what the latest development of the other iPhone – the LinkSys’

For those who don’t know what LinkSys’ iPhone is all about, it’s just a VOIP phone. And LinkSys is the internet applications subsidiary of Cisco which they’d registered the name iPhone much earlier than Apple did that.

In this post, we’re just introducing you the new LinkSys’ WIP320 iPhone. This Linksys’ iPhone comes with wireless G connectivity that lets you hook it up to any WiFi hotspot and then use the pre-loaded Skype app to make VOIP calls. Using this Linksys’ new iPhone needn’t you to use your computer to make VOIP calls using Skype. The WIP320 iPhone is similar to any cellphone, comes with nice keypad and display that lets you make call easily.
