The Sony Ericsson P5 or often refered as Paris was expected to show its face by end of last year, but unfortunately it didn’t show up on many of the past big events including Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Then, CeBit, CTIA Wireless etc.
Finally, the USEB managed to get some real pictures of the upcoming Sony Ericsson P5 and further information about its release date, which is to be announced by end of May and to get itself in the retail stores around September.
The USEB is definitely a big fan of Sony Ericsson cellphones, which they claim the Paris is slaying and dead gorgeous compared to other competitors in the market. The P5 will feature a full keyboard in known P1-style and run the UIQ 3.3 the a full keyboard in known P1-style. UnwiredView has also got the unofficial specs for the Paris as follows:
* Symbian/UIQ 3.3 interface
* Stylus and finger operated touchscreen
* 5 megapixel camera
* Built-in GPS
* Opera Mobile 9 browser
Perhaps the specs above give you little disappointment, as the SE P5 claims itself to fit into the high-end smartphone category, you’d be wondering where the common features found in today’s high-end smartphones have gone, such as the Wi-Fi connectivity and accelerometer etc. Anyway, it’s unofficial specs, you still can put hope on it.
